1)    A Mayor elected at large across the District

2)    Seven (7) councillors of the Otorohanga District Council as follows:

• Kawhia-Tihiroa Ward - two (2) councillors

• Kio Kio- Korakonui Ward - one (1) councillor

• Otorohanga Ward - two (2) councillors

• Wharepuhunga Ward - one (1) councillor

• Waipa Ward - one (1) councillor

3)    Election of four (4) members of the Otorohanga Community Board as follows:

• Otorohanga Ward - four (4) members

4)    Election of four (4) members of the Kawhia Community Board as follows:

• Kawhia Subdivision - three (3) members

• Aotea Subdivision - one (1) member

Documents were posted to all enrolled electors from 16 September 2016. Voting closed at noon on Saturday 8 October 2016.

Special voting was available in the Committee Room, Otorohanga District Council office, from Friday 16 September until the close of voting at noon on Saturday 8 October 2016.
