Bulk Metalling Unsealed Roads Program July 2024

Our next big project starts 29th July 2024 through to the end of September 2024 with the Bulk Metalling of some unsealed roads. This involves a heavy grade and then importing, shaping and compacting a new thin layer of material on the unsealed road. 

On some of these roads the grader working takes up the entire road width so traffic may be delayed for up to 30mins at a time.

We understand roadworks can be disruptive, but they are crucial for maintaining the quality and safety of our roads. These essential improvements are part of our ongoing commitment to maintain the district's infrastructure for a better pathway forward.
