Water shut down notice

Ōtorohanga Township, Residents and Businesses - Tuesday 28th July 2020.

On the night of the 28th of July, Council needs to shut off the main water line feeding the Ōtorohanga township to carry out the replacement of two critical water valves at the intersection of Huiputea Drive and Phillips Ave, Ōtorohanga.

The work will take place between the hours of 9pm (28.07.20) and 2am (29.07.20) the following morning. During this time the water will be off to all of the following streets:

Areas of Main North Rd, above the Karaka Road intersection and the following streets, Thomson Avenue, Sunset Close, Hillcrest Avenue, Cruden Avenue, Blucks Road and Mckenzie Avenue will not be affected.

On the morning of the 29th of July residents and businesses will experience some cloudy water as the water lines return to normal, we ask that everyone runs an outside tap for 5 minutes to clear any stirred up water before returning to their normal use.
