Creative Communities Assessment Committee

Council is seeking Community/District representatives (2) to be appointed to the Creative Communities assessment committee to assess applications and allocate funding in line with Creative N.Z guidelines and local priorities set by Council. .

Members of the Assessment Committee should have a broad knowledge of the arts environment in their local area.

The Committee is an independent community committee, not a council committee and decisions made by this committee do not need to be approved or confirmed by the council. Committee members usually serve a period of not more than three years although they can serve a maximum of two consecutive terms.

Council is looking for persons of all ages and nationalities who are familiar with the range and diversity of local arts activities and can be available from 1 July 2021.
