Keeping of Stock, Poultry and Bees Bylaw
The purpose of this Bylaw is to regulate the keeping of stock, poultry, and bees in a manner that will protect the public from nuisance and protect, promote and maintain public health and safety.
The Bylaw applies only within the boundaries of the Ōtorohanga and Kāwhia communities and was last reviewed in 2009.
Main provisions of the Bylaw are:
- The areas where stock is prohibited from being held within the district
- Offences related to the keeping of stock
