Interloans
If you are unable to find the book or article you want, then we may be able to get it for you from another library. Interlibrary loan is a co-operative scheme where libraries in New Zealand and Australia lend books and other items to each other, and supply copies of articles. There is a fee for this service to cover the return postage costs.
Suggestions for purchase
If there is a recently published title that you think the library should have in the collections, you can make a suggestion for purchase. Please be aware that making a suggestion does not mean the library will actually purchase a copy of the title, however it will be considered in line with our selection guidelines.
Computers & wifi
Our libraries are members of APNK (Aotearoa People's Network Kaharoa), which means we offer free, chrome-based wireless internet to all. Ōtorohanga and Kāwhia Libraries offers a free, secure wifi connection, which is available 24/7 within the library and its surrounding area. The passcode to access either connection is apnk2765.
