Lethbridge Bridge Deck Update 12th July 2024
We're excited to announce that the new bridge deck on Lethbridge Road has been successfully installed without any unexpected issues!
Over the next week, a Stop/Go will be in place while we complete the finishing touches, including handrails, guardrails, surfacing, and fencing.
A huge thank you to the local community for your patience and understanding while we work to improve our infrastructure.

Works to replace the Lethbridge bridge deck, are planned to be closed at 7.30am Monday 1 July 2024 until 5.00pm 12 July 2024.
Works to replace the existing timber deck with a new upgraded concrete panel deck will require an approximate two week road closure of Lethbridge Road.
The planned detour is Wharepuhunga Road to Hingaia Road.
Works are subject to weather.
