Just one, but we’d rather check out a sparky for the job!

On Wednesday February 26 (full day), the Ōtorohanga District Library will be going dark — No, it’s not the start of an apocalyptic novel (although we do have a great selection if that’s your vibe).

We're simply swapping out our old lights for shiny new LEDs to brighten up your library experience.

We know it’ll feel a little dim without us, but rest assured we’ll be back, better and brighter on February 27. So, no need to rage against the dying of the light—it’s only temporary!

Long story short, the Library will be closed to users on Wednesday February 26 for maintenance.

In the meantime, stock up on your favourite reads, join our digital library, we’ll be flipping the switch back on before you know it.
