Reappointment of Chief Executive - Tanya Winter

Mayor Max Baxter is pleased to announce the reappointment of Tanya Winter as the Chief Executive for Ōtorohanga District Council.

Following an external recruitment programme, rigorous interview process and comprehensive evaluation of Tanya’s performance and achievements during her five-year tenure, Council is confident that Tanya continues to be the ideal leader to guide our organisation toward continued success.

Tanya has demonstrated exceptional leadership, strategic vision, and a deep commitment to the well-being of our communities.

“It has been a pleasure to witness Tanya, through her leadership, inspire staff and transform our council into an organisation that is the envy of many councils across the country, during the most challenging period for local government.  I thank Tanya for the effort and dedication she has displayed, the relationships formed and the desire to further develop the organisation over the coming years” Mayor Max Baxter said.
